Commes des Garcon Shows Keith Haring Some Love With Capsule Collection! (PHOTOS)

It was announced today that a capsule collection of COMME des GARÇONS items will be released featuring artwork by Keith Haring.

In either lambswool or cashmere, each will feature Haring’s notable drawing in white on black.

The limited collection will be available soon at Dover Street Market’s fourth floor and other CDG retail locations worldwide.

Haring was an artist and social activist whose artwork became popular in the ’80s because of his positive messages and unique style. Simple ink drawings on paper, in the subway and handball courts were places you would find his work.

Since his untimely passing in 1990 from the the AIDS virus, Haring’s work has lived on through everything from paintings, sculptures and murals throughout NYC, to clothing brands that have worked with the Keith Haring Foundation.
