Just last month Amanda Bynes annouced her retirement from acting on Twitter. she said that she just wasn’t in love with acting the way she used to be. Now Amanda Bynes has just annouced that she is unretired. This makes me think that her so called ‘retirement’ was for publicity. After annoucing her unretirement, Amanda posted an ad for her new movie, ‘Easy A’ which will be in theaters on September 17. Amanda isn’t the first entertainer to retire early their career and unretire. Here are some entertainers who’ve retired a bit too early.

Brooklyn’s finest MC Jay-Z retired from rap in 2003 with ‘The Black Album’. He unretired in 2006 with ‘Kingdom Come’. Now he’s a 40 year old rapper who doesn’t plan on retiring any time soon.

Lupe Fiasco was thinking about retirement after his third studio album. The only problem was his record label contract. Another problem with his record label is the release of Lasers. Pssh!, record labels these days.

Kid Cudi’s retirement plan came a bit too early. Cudi annouced retirement from the music industry before the release of his debut album. Good thing Cudi changed his mind. Cudi stated that he wants to release five more albums, then he’ll retire.

After a tough lost to the NY Giants in December 2007, Brett Favre retired from the NFL. Then in 2008, Favre annouced that he was coming back. Bad idea Favre, very bad idea. Favre played for the NY Jets and didn’t make the playoffs, tragic. Good thing he got switched to the Minnesota Vikings. They made the playoffs with Favre.
