My Biggest Pet Peeve by Evelyn Lozada

I have been so busy filming Basketball Wives 2. This season is going to be so juicy! You must tune in for all of the action! Even though I have many glamourous days, being in the public eye isn’t always easy!

But the way I handle it all is staying positive, being true to myself, and only surrounding myself around real friends. So, if you are not in my inner circle, I will respect you, but be clear I will not share any details of my personal life with you.

Being a New York Native – I’m a no nonsense type of chick, it’s in my blood. Also, I’m a business owner – Dulce Shoes keeps me very busy, so my tolerance for nonsense is extremely low.

I don’t think gossiping is cute, I don’t want your man, and honestly don’t care if you are jealous of me. I’m used to that – girls are catty – but don’t worry… I do not let it phase me.

The only person that can judge me is GOD – so if you are a hater, I will pray for you, but after that I’m keeping it moving!

Ladies – always focus on your career and motivating yourself to be better! Do not spend any time and energy on being a drama queen.

Trust me, drama finds us all, but if you get caught in the gossip frenzy, you will be stuck like a crab in a bucket, who never gets out.

Be bigger and better than that. Focus on getting your career job, or starting a business like I did. It wasn’t always easy, but it is worth everyday of hard work.

Waking up each day, and having a career that I love, is priceless!

My biggest pet peeve about being in the media is that people make up stories about me,  just to get a hit on their website, or have someone purchase their magazine.

That is very sad. It’s a shame that people will stoop so low. But hey – it’s a business I guess.

But for me – the real Evelyn –  I am a grown career woman and mother, whose main goal in life isto be a positive role model to my beautiful daughter. If I have made her proud, then I have fulfilled my mission in life.

I gotta run. The camera’s are rolling!
