Last night was an extravagant night for all the Grammy nominees, even the people that didn’t win get the most respect from me. Just being a nominee in the Grammy’s is a major deal and there’s always next year for both new artists and old to win!

I feel the ‘Best Rap Album’ of the year should have definitely been Eminem’s ‘Relapse’. With little promotion, but a big fan following this album went platinum in less than two weeks. This was a well deserved award for Eminem. Congrats!



If Jay-Z would not have won ‘Best Rap Solo Performance’ with ‘D.O.A.’ then my bet would have been on Drake for the category, because nobody  made a bigger impact with their single than he did with ‘Best I Ever Had’. I can understand Jay-Z being the winner because he made a record that destroyed every rapper using  the ‘Auto-Tune’ effect on their vocals. He told every one to ‘Get Back To Rap!’ Congrats Jay-Z!
