Apparently, everyone is getting in “Formation” ahead of Beyonce’s highly anticipated sixth album. And over the weekend, Madea joined the Beyhive in showing her excitement.

During “Tyler Perry’s Madea On the Run” stage play Friday night at the Milwaukee Theatre in Wisconsin, the star of the show did a little dance to a live band’s version of “Formation.”

The music dropped as Tyler Perry nodded his head and sang, “My daddy Alabama, my momma Louisiana.” Adding, “You mix that negro with that Creole and get a Texas bamma!” the crowd immediately got the reference and erupted into laughter.

“Tyler Perry’s Madea On the Run” has been on tour since August 2015, with stops all over the country. In addition to his stage plays, the writer and producer is wrapping up “Boo! A Madea Halloween” and in pre-production for his new show, Too Close to Home.

“To the almost 20,000 people who showed up for Madea on the Run in St. Louis!!,” he said on Twitter. “Thank you!! I’m having so much fun.”
