DMX Freaks Out Over Snapchat’s “Face Swap” Feature

Technology can be a scary thing. It most certainly threw DMX for a loop today as he was introduced, in the rudest way possible, to Snapchat’s “face swap” feature. The video features X and actress Paige Hurd, as Paige shows X the tech that has him literally screaming in fright.

There’s something both hilarious and terrifying at DMX yelling “WHAT HAPPENED, WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE THAT?” at the top of his lungs. It’s hilarious because DMX raps about shooting people, selling drugs, and once rapped to listeners how he had blood on his genitalia from adult activities with a corpse. It’s also terrifying, because at some point, everyone is going to be like DMX. Technology will keep  moving faster while we will keep moving slower and before we know it, one of our kids will walk up to us holding a holographic telephone and we will shriek the same way DMX did in this video.

For those who didn’t know, Paige Hurd and DMX are very close. She played his daughter in the file Cradle 2 the Grave and refers to him as her god-father. This isnt the first time she’s put him on camera though. There’s also this beautiful rendition of a DMX classic, “Party Up.”

Who said the Dark Man can’t have a silly side?
