It’s no surprise that Diddy is doing big things.
$130 million worth of things to be specific, and that was just in 2017 alone. Now, the entertainer and entrepreneur is making moves on an even bigger level and his goal is to inspire.
According to his recent interview with GQ, Diddy (who now goes by Love, but will still respond to Diddy) has various projects planned that will have you ready for the future. Swipe through to check out the top four things that are getting us excited!
1. An app he’s developing with Jay-Z to help people find Black owned businesses in any given city.
“This is not about taking away from any other community,” Love said. “We’ll still go to Chinatown. But the application will make it possible for us to have an economic community. It’s about Blacks gaining economic power.”
2. His new Sean Jean line, which will be black and white chic.
“It’ll have a street cool, but it can’t be too geechie,” he said. Or in other words, it won’t be doing the most.
3. His trip to Arizona that helped him reconnect with his creativity.
Apparently, Love has song ideas that are so hot, he doesn’t even know how they’re going to get made. “I’m not 100 percent knowing how to come up with the sounds yet,” he said.
I don’t think we’re ready.
4. The talent Love has yet to discover.
In the interview, Love mentions that he has yet to find an up-and-coming artist that gives him the same feels as Biggie. But he plans to continuing the search with shows like The Four and other mentorships. “I think I’ve developed a mentorship relationship with the world,” he said. “God sent me here to inspire.”
And inspire you shall.
