5 Artists To Watch For During Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash (sponsored by Xfinity)

Over the last 23 years, Hot 107.9’s annual Birthday Bash has been Atlanta’s destination when you want to see all of your favorite artists hit one stage. Previous performers include Kanye West, Drake, T.I., Future, JAY-Z and more. This year will be no different.

On June 16, Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash returns to Lakewood Amphitheatre with a ton of special guests and very likely a few surprises.

This year Young Thug, Blac Youngsta,  Plies and Yo Gotti will be taking the stage. Tickets are already on sale and before you head out, we’ve compiled a quick list of 5 other Birthday Bash artists you should make sure you check out this year.

1. Derez De’Shon

Earlier this year, Atlanta native Derez Deshon made his Billboard Hot 100 debut with his single “Hardaway” off his debut album “Pain”. De’Shon has collaborated with a number of artists including Waka Flocka, Birdman, Jacquees and Rich Gang.

2. TK Kravitz 

TK Kravitz is known by many for his single “Space” featuring Sexton but behind the scenes, he’s a seasoned songwriter. Kravitz has worked with the likes of Trey Songz, Meek Mill, Flo Rida, Kevin Gates, Juicy J and many more.

 3. Jacquees 

Signed to Birdman’s Cash Money Records imprint,  R&B singer Jacquees gained ultimate popularity when he released the single “B.E.D” in 2016. Since the success of that single, the Decatur native has gone on to push a new track, “At The Club” featuring Detroit’s own Dej Loaf.

4. Ball Greezy

Hailing from Miami, Ball Greezy has released a number of projects, including 305, Feel My Pain parts 1 and 2, and Bae Day. He’s received support from fellow Miami vets DJ Khaled and DJ Smokey, and has worked alongside Flo-Rida, Brisco and Jim Jones.

5. Lil Baby 

 Atlanta’s Lil Baby is new to the rap scene, having only started rapping a year ago, but he’s already got the city on lock. The Quality Control signee dropped his first project “Perfect Timing” in April 2017.
