June hasn’t even hit yet and it’s already looking to be a hot summer.
…like furnace heat hot.
Some major rappers are releasing solo projects this year and already some controversial talk is following each release.
Things reached a climax when Drake dropped his “Duppy Freestyle” diss against Pusha T where he questioned Push’s drug dealing past and even took shots at Kanye West.
Push has since responded with his brutal “The Story of Adidon” where he took some vicious shots at Drizzy’s family life.
The allegations are cutting deep this summer.
Swipe through for the biggest rumors and accusations rappers will have to explain on wax!
Kanye’s TMZ meltdown and Twitter-storm.
While some fans have already canceled Kanye, ignored Kanye, or just let Kanye be Kanye…other still believe this man has a lot of explaining to do.
Over the course of two weeks in April and May, Kanye did everything from wear Make America Great Again hats to say slavery was a choice. These actions are such a shift from “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people” statements.
The people want answers!
Domestic violence allegations against Nas.
In April, Nas’ ex-wife Kelis revealed that their relationship involved a lot of “mental and physical abuse.” Since her confession, Nas has only responded with a picture of his son Knight saying, “This is what it’s all about. Pure Peace & Pure Love. Pure Happiness!”

Not much of an explanation considering the seriousness of Kelis’ story.
Along with Pusha T, Kid Cudi and Teyana Taylor, Nas has also been locked in the studio with Kanye for his album. Considering his usual transparency on songs, it’d be shocking if he didn’t address Kelis’ claims on his new project.
Pusha T’s actual drug numbers

Now starts the beef of the year — Pusha T vs. Drake.
On “Duppy,” Drake clapped back at Pusha T for saying he doesn’t write his own songs by digging into Push’s drug dealing past:
“Man, you might’ve sold to college kids for Nike & Mercedes
But you act like you sold drugs for Escobar in the ’80s.”
In other words, Drake thinks Push is hyping his dope dealing history to that of a drug lord in his songs — when in reality, Drake thinks Push wasn’t that big time.
This begs the question, will Push give more receipts about his dope dealing in records to come?
I doubt he’ll give hard numbers (we don’t want the FBI and IRS involved now do we), but some savvy lines could reveal more truth to Push’s history.
Drake making music with Kanye West in Wyoming
In “Duppy,” Drake confirmed that he’s written tracks with Kanye and not just for Kanye’s songs “30 Hours” and “Father Stretch My Hands” (which Kanye has already confirmed).
With the “Duppy” line “I just left from over by y’all puttin’ pen to the sheets,” Drake is supposedly confirming that he was with Kanye in Wyoming, helping him on his upcoming album.
Rumors had already spread months before that Drake was helping Ye with his new album, so now the forever contradictory Kanye will have to explain how he let Push release his diss records, yet was working with “the enemy” at the same time.
Kanye allegedly not giving a sh*t about Donda House
Let’s take a break from the Drake and Pusha T beef for a minute and talk Kanye’s, I guess, former organization Donda House.
Kanye started the org to help the youth of Chicago through art and education, but according to Rhymefest, the Chi-Town spitter has abandoned his org. After a heated Twitter argument between Ye’s wife Kim Kardashian West and Rhymefest, Donda House announced that it will now change its name.
I guess to distance itself from Kanye and his alleged no good deeds?
We need a response from Ye stat!
Drake allegedly being a deadbeat dad
Alright, back to Drake and Pusha T!
So Drake allegedly has a son with artist and former porn star Sophia Brussaux and in Push’s eyes, Drake isn’t showing the kid much love.
Drake has yet to speak out about his alleged son, but with his Scorpion album dropping in June we expect nothing less than Drizzy feels on the situation.
Drake in blackface
The cover for “The Story of Adidon” probably needs the biggest explanation!
Drake in blackface?
Definitely not a good look.
While there’s already some confirmation that the photo is real, Drake has yet to answer to the image himself.
And we need ALL the answers!
