If you thought Drake and Pusha T’s brief rap beef was intense or potentially dangerous, you probably haven’t been paying attention to the drama between Chief Keef and Tekashi 69.
Chief Keef has been popping up in hoods all across America trying to find Tekashi — but 69 hasn’t been hiding. Earlier this week, he was spotted in Keef’s hometown of Chicago giving burgers to the homeless.

Then, the Bushwick rapper pulled the ultimate gangsta move and posted up in Chief Keef’s “O-Block” neighborhood, just to stunt for the innanets.
But the icing on top of the Troll cake happened on Wednesday when Tekashi took Keef’s baby mama Gucci shopping after she claimed the 300 God, “Don’t do sh**t for his kid.”

Lots of people thought that Pusha T rapping about OVO 40’s sickness was a bit too far:
And people flamed Drake for mentioning Kid Cudi’s mental illness on the not-so-subliminal diss track “Two Birds One Stone.”
But all’s fair in hip hop wars, right?
It may seem like all fun and games now, but we’ve all seen what happens when rap beefs turn into real beefs.
RIP to Biggie and Pac — and check out some other brazy moments when hip hop beef went from wax to the streets.

Rozay is pretty lucky that social media wasn’t as poppin’ when 50 exposed him for being a C.O. and took his baby mama (and the kids) to hang out with Floyd Mayweather.

Fortunately, both artists came out unscathed and still have a thriving career, beyond music.
Gucci Mane Vs. Jeezy

No one expected this one to end well. Back in ’05, Gucci and Jeezy were supposed to be on the song, “Icy” together for the Snowman’s debut album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101.That was until Gucci decided to drop the track on his own — sans Jeezy. Becuase of that, Jeezy could’t use the song for his project and never got paid for his contribution.

Things eventually got to hands in 2010 when the rappers got into fight at Walter’s Clothing in Atlanta. It’s amazing how time heals all. Both men seem to be living their best Boss life these days.

This nearly 20 year old beef still has legs in 2018. It’s actually one of the few rap beefs that started on the streets before it got to the music. The story goes that one of 50’s homies tried to steal Ja’s jewelry back in the day, which allegedly led to 50 getting stabbed at the Hit Factory in New York.

Many office building were shot at and several diss tracks were made in the midst of this never ending battle – but at least no one lost their lives because of it.
Jay-Z Vs. Nas

This one could’ve gotten super ugly — no pun intended. As fans, we got to experience some of the greatest diss tracks in music history. But things took a turn for the worst when Nas’ baby mama, Carmen got involved. Jay admitted to sleeping with Carmen and every hip hop fan in the world thought we’d have to deal with another Pac and Biggie type of loss.

These days, the emcees are so over the battle that Nas even signed to Def Jam under Hov at one point.
Honorable Mention: Beanie Sigel Vs. Jadakiss

There was so much talk about gun clapping and wacking in this beef that it certainly felt as if things were headed to the streets pretty soon.

But despite going bar for bar on the Powerhouse stage in 2001, not much has come from this menacing beef. Beans and Jada are even on good terms these days.
