Tekashi 69‘s name seems to pop up wherever there’s trouble.
Vic Mensa recently stated in an interview with LA’s REAL 92.3 that 69 stole his whole sound from Chicago Drill rap…
And Tekashi’s number one supporter, DJ Akademiks decided to chime in. Vic then went on to invite the rainbow haired Brooklyn rapper to “see me with the hands” and threatened Ak saying, “it’s on sight when I see you.”
It didn’t take long for Tekashi to chime in with the most disrespectful comment ever.

But why all the hostility between the two emcees and the Internet personality?
Hit the flip to see the beef breakdown.
As a Chi-town native, Vic has always felt a way about how Ak was covering the Chicago Drill Movement on his site during a time when the city’s gun violence was at an all time high. So during a June 2017 interview with Everyday Struggle, the Roc nation artist addressed the elephant in the room and called Ak a b***h to his face.
Akademiks stated after the intense interview that he was blind sided by Vic’s attack. However, the rapper kept the beef going with a freestyle on Funk Master Flex’s Hot 97 show, rapping, “While I was selling Os in the complex / You was on the keyboard leaving comments on Complex.”
Ak then went on to diss Vic in January 2018 with a song called “Blues Clues” under the moniker Lil AK. He rapped, Crashing servers on deck/ A million views we up next/ Vic Mensa upset (he mad)/ Always chilling on set.”
Fast forward to July 2018 and Vic caused out Tekashi for not respecting Chiraq’s legacy when it comes to music. And now here we are, with one of the most promising young rappers in the world threatening to knock out two of the biggest trolls the Internet has ever seen.
Who are you rooting for?
