Can you believe that today marks one whole year that Pusha T dropped his explosive Drake diss track entitled the Story Of Adidon? Who knew that one song could change the way people viewed one of the most successful artists of our generation.
Drake’s career didn’t plummet after SOA like some people assumed it would, but he did have to go back update some tracks on his Scorpion album after Pusha let the world know that Drizzy was “hiding a child”. But before Push dropped SOA, he kicked off the beef with another track aimed at Drake called Infrared from his most acclaimed album Daytona.
Of course the 6 God tried to hit him with the calm, cool diss like he did Meek back in 2015 with Charged Up — but for some reason, his Duppy Freestyle didn’t stick with folks like his previous tracks did.

Not saying that Drake’s Duppy Freestyle was the worst diss track ever, but fans definitely expected ChampagnePapi to slaughter King Push the way he bodied Meek. But you can’t win them all, right?
Speaking of the diss tracks that fell flat, hit the flip to check out our list of the worst hip hop diss tracks of ALL TIME.
Eminem
“Kill Shot” ( A Diss To MGK)
There’s nothing more entertaining in hip hop than White on White beef. Fans were hype that rap god Eminem was back in his disrespectful bag when he came for MGK. But his “Kill Shot” diss totally missed the mark — and it didn’t help that MGK’s “Rap Devil” had the lyrics, beat, and video that not only surprised the culture, but made hip hop heads look at Marshall Mathers a little sideways. Em is still one of the GOATs, though.
Lil Kim
“Flawless Freestyle” (A Diss To Nicki Minaj)
Kim and Nicki have had beef since Minaj’s rise to fame in the late 2000’s, and they both have thrown subliminals at each other in records. But the Queen Bee was fed up with the subs in 2014 when she remixed a remix of Beyonce’s track “Flawless” featuring Nicki Minaj. And well, let’s just say, it was so subpar that people don’t even remember it.
Lil Pump
“F*** J. Cole” (A Diss To J. Cole)
The fact that 75% of the lyrics is just Lil Pump repeating “F*** J. Cole” says enough about the quality and substance of the track. That’s it. That’s the tweet.
Nicki Minaj
“No Frauds” (A Diss To Remy Ma)
Everyone remembers where they were when Remy Ma dropped her SHETHER diss track about Nicki Minaj. Fans waited, and waited, and waited for Onika to respond — but they were disappointed when she dropped “No Frauds”; a semi-diss that doubled as just a hot 100 song that featured Drake and Lil Wayne. Some people don’t even count it as a diss track.
Needless to say, the song didn’t take off like an ’09 Young Money track would have.
Meek Mill
“Wanna Know” (A Diss To Drake)
When the biggest rapper in the world drops a diss track about you that happens to also be a club banger, no matter what you put out in response, folks aren’t going to give it the attention and respect it deserves. Today, fans are realizing that “Wanna Know” wasn’t exactly as garbage as it was portrayed to be — but coming from a spitter like Meek, it could’ve been better.
Ja Rule
“Loose Change” (A Diss To Eminem, Dr. Dre & 50 Cent)
Ja was bold AF to come for some of the heaviest hitters in the rap game: figuratively and literally. But boy oh boy, he sure did wound up paying for this throughout his career.
Soulja Boy
“F*** Bow Wow” (A Diss To Bow Wow)
