Howard Stern Talks Out of His Ass
I don’t know if Howard Stern is trying to be the next Don Imus, but I know he is definitely coming in for a close 2nd after stating his opinion about Precious actress Gabourey Sidibe today on his radio show.
We all know Howard Stern is notorious for saying whatever he feels and not holding anything back, but referring to Gabourey as “the most enormous fat black chick I’ve ever seen…” is leading him straight for Don Imus status, and we all know how that worked out for him.
After he struggled to pronounce her name he went on to give Gabourey advice via his radio show telling her to lose weight now that she has money. Coming from Howard Stern these comments shouldn’t be taken too seriously because the man has been doing this for years but after seeing Gabourey do numerous interviews over the past few months, I think Howard Stern took it too far.
In every interview I’ve seen with Gabourey, she has presented herself as a respectable actress with a girl-next-door personality. Saying that she’ll never be able to get another role because of her size besides as a football player in ‘The Blind Side 2’ is taking it to a level that it doesn’t need to be at.
I think Gabourey should be respected and taken seriously not only because of her role as Precious but also because of the way she has represented herself in the public eye afterwards. I have nothing but respect for her!
