James Franco Is The Hot Geeky Theatre Kid You Need To Know (PHOTOS)

All the ladies absolutely gush over James Franco’s great looks and amazing sense of style, but don’t let his good looks fool you, James is an amazing intelluctual.

The ‘Spider-Man’ star should definitely be considered a real life super hero, because he’s proven to have some sort of super human ability to focus on multiple tasks that enable him to accomplish educational phenomenons.

You could probably categorize Franco as the hot geeky theatre kid, but he’s definitely more complex than common generalizations. Being the complex individual he is, James became bored with acting in Hollywood so he enrolled at UCLA in the fall of 2006 as an English major with a concentration in creative writing. He graduated a four-year program in only two years, all while maintaining his acting career. 

Being labeled as the hot intellectual, James didn’t stop at one degree. He simultaneously attended graduate school at Columbia University for a writing program, New York University’s Tisch School of The Arts for filmmaking, and Brookyn College for fiction writing, while occasionally commuting to North Carolina’s Warren Wilson College for poetry. Talk about a hard worker! Most celebs are too busy to go grocery shopping, let alone attend four colleges at the same time.

As of 2010, Franco is an English PhD student at Yale University and recently released a short story collection entitled ‘Palo Alto,’ which is a book of inter-connected vignettes told by fictional teenagers.

Distinguished by TIME Magazine as the ‘Coolest Person of the Year,’ we have to admit that James’ ability to juggle four different majors at multiple universities while appearing in movies and soap operas is absolutely the epitome of cool.
