Anthony Mackie From 8 Mile To Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue Cover Outtakes (PHOTOS)

Earlier this week Vanity Fair released the cover for their 17th annual Hollywood Issue. Anne Hathaway, James Franco, Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal grace the cover, while the second flap includes recent standout actor Anthony Mackie. Mackie rose to A-List status after his mind blowing role in ‘Hurt Locker’. 

Showing off his acting skills, Mackie was able to dive into the role saying, ‘You can really block everything out around you and just immerse yourself in the scene with the other actors.” That takes great skill. What is also impressive is that Anthony Mackie went from a battle rapper in Eminem‘s ‘8 Mile’ to working along side great actors like Matt Damon in his new movie ‘The Adjustment Bureau’. 

Anthony Mackie has a bright future with movies about Jesse Owens in the works he already left a resume of work to be remembered forever. One of the reasons he related to the role of Sanborn in Hurt Locker, Mackie ‘As a young man, I related so intensely to that fear of having 30 years of life and nothing to show for it, nothing to leave the world.’
