It’s not new news: Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim have a bit of a beef going on. Yet both of these super talented, beautiful women are needed to enliven and pave the way for the important presence of female MCs in the hip hop game.

But the two can’t seem to get along. Lil Kim’s new mixtape ‘Black Friday’ has reportedly sold the most copies (113,000) on PayPal for a mixtape ever and she just released ‘Pissin’ On ‘Em’ a remix of Nicki’s ‘Did It On ‘Em’ off her platinum debut album ‘Pink Friday.’ The women have also gone back and forth on Twitter multiple times.

In a perfect world everyone would be able to coexist peacefully. There are no winners in this MC beef. GlobalGrind decided to put together a fun list of folks we think should be able to mediate the Nicki/Kim rumble. Take a look on the next pages. What do you think about the Nicki Vs. Kim situation?

Michelle Obama: Michelle has a degree from Harvard Law School so she knows a thing or two about negotiation. She’s a diplomatic role model, who helps foster positive relationships between the U.S. and other countries around the world. Therefore, she could definitely help rebuild the relationship between Nicki and Lil Kim!

Borat: If you’ve ever seen the film ‘Borat’ Sasha Baron Cohen boiled the conflict between the Israeli and Palestinian conflict down to one thing: they both like hummus! I’m sure Nicki and Lil Kim have some mutual interests in common that Borat can uncover.

Eve’s character Terri Jones in film ‘Barbershop’. The real life Eve may also be a female MC, but her character Terri was always up in everyone’s business and knew how to handle some tough situations. She could have Nicki and Kim come into the salon for some styling and they could all talk it out with their hair curlers in.

The Situation: ‘Jersey Shore”s resident hard-ab guido always antagonizes fights between the housemates, but he inevitably pulls everyone together to work it out. The Sitch’s favorite motto is that we are all one big ‘family.’ Maybe Nicki and Kim can be reminded of that by Mike and then the three of them can go clubbing.

Reverand Al Sharpton: To be honest, we’re surprised Rev Al hasn’t already entangled himself in the women’s feud. Al is well known for taking a stand on sensitive subjects, whether or not you agree with him, he definitely has a fire-y personality. So do Nicki and Kim, so we know the three of them would have some mediation session!
