Lindsay Lohan was still in a good space, and the hilarious film did a great job of capturing a very sacred time in every young person’s life: high school.

Now to our delight, LiLo’s co-star and writer Tina Fey has revealed that the possibility of a Mean Girls musical happening is very real!
During the Screen Actors Guild Awards yesterday, Tina told E!:
“Maybe! We want to. I would love to. I think Paramount’s on board.”
She even joked that maybe Mariah Carey could play a top notch mean girl herself, commenting:
“Maybe [Carey] can play Amy Poehler’s part in the musical.”
