In the film, Brandy Norwood stars as Jackie Jenkins, a supportive friend who is the embodiment of holiday cheer. Every Christmas Jackie sends a boastful holiday newsletter that makes her old college friend Charlotte (played by Heather Graham) feel like a lump of coal. When a twist of fate lands Charlotte and her family on Jackie’s snowy doorstep just days before Christmas, she seizes the opportunity to prove her old friend’s life can’t possibly be that perfect.
Alongside Brandy (
Moesha, Cinderella, The Game, Queens) and Graham (
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, The Hangover, Scrubs), the movie stars Matt Cedeño (
Power) and Jason Biggs (
American Pie, Orange Is The New Black). It also stars Wyatt Hunt (
Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses, The First Lady), Abby Villasmil (
The Graduates) and Madison Skye Validum (the
Ivy + Bean series).
Best. Christmas. Ever! was written by Charles Shyer and Todd Gallicano. The Mary Lambert directed film was produced by Brad Krevoy. In addition to Shyer and Gallicano, Steve Berman, Bryan Bordon, David Wulf, Eric Jarboe, Jimmy Townsend and Amanda Phillips also served as executive producers.
