'Lilo & Stitch' Official Trailer Released

Today (March 12th), Disney blessed fans worldwide with the official trailer for their eagerly anticipated film Lilo & Stitch. Continue reading to get your first look!

The live-action reimagining of Disney’s 2002 animated classic is the wildly funny and touching story of a lonely Hawaiian girl named Lilo and the fugitive dog-like alien (who was built for destruction) named Stitch who helps to mend her broken family. The film explores the bond between the two as they pursue aliens, social workers and the idea of ohana. 

Chris Sanders (How To Train Your Dragon, The Wild Robot) returns to voice everyone’s favorite blue alien. The film introduces Maia Kealoha, who plays a cheerful yet troublesome young Lilo. The cast also includes Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen (Game Night, Aladdin), Tia Carrere (General Hospital), Hannah Waddingham (Game of Thrones, Ted Lasso), with Courtney B. Vance (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The People vs. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, Lovecraft Country) and Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover trilogy, Due Date, Baskets). 

Award-winning filmmaker Dean Fleischer Camp directed the film, with a screenplay by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van Waes. Lilo & Stitch is produced by Jonathan Eirich, p.g.a. and Dan Lin, with Tom Peitzman, Ryan Halprin, Louie Provost and Thomas Schumacher serving as executive producers.
