'Peacemaker' Season 2 Official Teaser

After much anticipation, fans worldwide finally got their first look at season 2 of the hit Max Original series Peacemaker! Continue reading to check out the official teaser trailer for the next chapter of the superhero series.

John Cena (Trainwreck, Bumblebee, The Suicide Squad, F9) returns as the title character Christopher “Chris” Smith, aka Peacemaker. In Season 2, the vigilante Super Hero struggles to reconcile his past with his newfound sense of purpose while continuing to kick righteous evil-doer butt in his misguided quest for peace at any cost.

Alongside Cena, Danielle Brooks (Orange Is the New Black, Master of None, The Color Purple), Jennifer Holland (The Suicide Squad, Black Adam), Freddie Stroma (Harry Potter film series, Unreal, Time After Time), Steve Agee (The Sarah Silverman Project, Shazam! Fury of the Gods), and Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day, The X-Files, Safe House) return for season two. They will be joined by new cast members Frank Grillo (The Purge franchise, Zero Dark Thirty), David Denman (The Office, The Equalizer 3, Rebel Ridge), Sol Rodriguez (Star Trek: Picard), and Tim Meadows (Mean Girls, Semi-Pro, Grown Ups).

In addition to writing all eight episodes of the season, James Gunn directed three, including the first one. Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Althea Jones also direct. Gunn, Peter Safran, and John Cena serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Gunn’s Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Peacemaker will return with its second season on August 21st at 9:00p.m. ET/PT on Max. While we wait for the official trailer, check out the season’s teaser and some first look images below!
