Latto has a knack for finishing the year out strong — makes sense, since she’s a Sagittarius, who celebrates another trip around the sun every year on December 22.
After dropping her track “Big Energy” earlier this year, the beauty wowed at the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards, ironically bringing some much-needed energy to the stage as she performed the new anthem. But that wasn’t Latto’s only notable 2021 moment — she also went hard for her LA Leakers freestyle, dropped the visual to her single “Soufside,” and has been killing on the social media marketing side of things.

I grew up listening to: “My dad had Tupac playing all the time. Bone Thugs, some N.W.A—he liked West Coast shit so I grew up listening to that. He was big on Left Eye. When Nicki [Minaj] came out, that was the biggest thing I remember. In 5th grade, I cut my hair in bangs, did the pink highlights, everything.
