There’s no denying
Tommie Lee has made a name for herself in reality television.
Love & Hip Hop fans first met the Atlanta model and rapper when she made a cameo appearance at a listening party for Rasheeda Frost in season one. Four seasons later, Tommie would join the supporting cast, captivating fans with her beauty, style, and authenticity. While on the show, the mom of two confronted her demons and never held back in front of cameras. Those who watched know Tommie struggled with alcohol and violence, which led to her getting arrested multiple times. Despite her battle against addiction, Tommie has continued to try and push forward.

she told a substance abuse expert alcoholism “runs deep” in her family and it’s embarrassing for her.
“I’m shy so sometimes I drink to be a little more social. I don’t know, it helped me cope with a lot of things going on in my life,” she
added. “I mean, it’s so many things. Even though I have a big family, I don’t really have support. To deal with the thoughts of my mom not liking me, hating me, and the stress that I’m going through with my brothers and sisters — like how big my heart is and open to everybody — they don’t feel the same way about me, so that kinda like, that kinda hurts. Every time I go through this stuff, it hurts me. I’m not proud of it.”
