Angela Simmons Goes For Protective Styling With New Box-Braids (PHOTOS)

It’s not easy for the natural girls when the humidity starts to get high and beach days are an option; that blow out simply isn’t going to cut it. Angela Simmons, Solange, Beyonce and our news and politics editor, Christina, have all figured out what the secret is: box braids. 

Made famous by the box braid OG Janet Jackson in Poetic Justice, the box-braided hairstyle is seeing a resurgence and Angela was the latest to try out the style.
